Rusty Wallace, Time to Fire Son Steven

Isn't it time for the inevitable? We've yet to see him finish a race. And now yet again today in Vegas he's out before the race is halfway done. How long can dad look the other way and not face the facts?
Time to bench the kid before ol' Rusty goes broke.

Steve has finished races and has done pretty good this year except for Vegas. In Daytona he was taken out by another car (not Steve's fault) and today in Vegas he spun out in a spot that several Cup drivers spun out. I have seen Steve win several times in ARCA and I know the kid can drive a racecar!!!

Hey Rusty, I am looking for racing employment! Find me here...

Thanks for your interest. Dale Dodge Jr

I am really curious why he hasn't benched him yet. There would be no harm in putting Stephen back in ARCA, for a little more experience.
David Stremme had the same problems in Cup in 2006, but in '07 he was looking very good, even after Ganassi decided to replace him with Francitti beginning this year. Stremme's fifth place finish last Saturday was the best yet for RWR. Now Chase Austin will be moving in. I wonder if he will be any better than Stephen?
